Tara + Dom: "Day" After Shoot

This was a special day for Tara and Dom, termed the "Day" After shoot, the lovely and talented Katie Neal snapped pictures of the two love birds nearly three years after they said their "I dos." You see, Tara and Dom were not happy with their wedding photos and they wanted pictures they could hang in their home that captured their personalities. Katie did just that and got their story featured on Style Me Pretty!

Tara's bouquet was designed with ranunculus, sweet pea, scabiosa, basil, and oregano.

Lori of Paper and Thread Studio designed these super cute love notes, written by Tara and Don, that they exchanged during the shoot.

I just love this picture.

Katie, thank you for thinking of The Floral Lab and pulling together the fabulous team of Paper and Thread Studio, La Boheme, and Beauty to Be.

The Floral Lab got snagged!

SOMEONE PINCH ME PLEASE! I got snagged.

So, I received an email from the much admired Kelly of succulentLOVE and bash, please asking me to be a part of something great. She and her business partner, Paige, discussed the need for a modern curated wedding event. With their dear friend Audrey of Urbanic on board, they were on a mission to make their idea come to life and so HITCHED was created. The date: Thursday evening, September 23, 2010. The location: Smog Shoppe

Are you kidding me? Of course I said YES! This event is going to be so RAD! I'm nervous with excitement to have my work featured. My mind is flooded with design ideas. What will I come up with? You'll just have to wait and see.

To learn more about the event and see who got snagged, check out the HITCHED website and blog. Purchase tickets here and get ready to have some FUN!

I received an email a while back from the wonderful Jessica Solloway, a writer for WeTV. She was doing a feature on unique twists on a typical bouquet and asked me to submit my work. I was thrilled. Here are the two bouquets she chose and so cutely named:
