I went non-traditional this Valentine's Day. No red roses, green fern, and baby's breath here! I jazzed up purple tulips in a clear glass vase with two beautiful white laces and accented them swarovski crystals.
Pretty pale pinks and whites for this second arrangement designed with ranunculus, tulips, queen anne's lace, white lilac, and anemone. I accented the vase with simple pale pink satin ribbon.
I found my passion for floral design later on in life...after college, years of work, and graduate school. I've always loved flowers, but it wasn't until about 5 years ago that I took a job at Stoneblossom, an amazing floral design company in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, the town I grew up in. Scheduling consultations with brides, assisting with wedding and event set ups, ordering supplies, and prepping flowers for the designers....I loved everything about that job. So much so that when I moved to California I started The Floral Lab (My initials growing up were LAB).
I'm constantly researching the craft, learning the business, and growing personally and professionally. I'm meeting and working with the most positive and creative people! I love my life right now and it's only getting better.
My floral designs are uniquely crafted out of my home located in sunny Vista, California. I create them for you with love.
