Tara + Steve: A Desert Wedding

Last weekend, The Floral Lab hit the road for Tara + Steve's desert wedding at the beautiful MiraMonte Resort & Spa in Palm Springs, CA. We had a great time designing these lovely whimsical centerpieces. Congrats Tara + Steve!

With a warm night ahead of us we stopped off to visit Molly Funky of Flush and Bones & enjoyed a delicious dinner at Giuseppes. Thanks Molly!

Hi All! This was a shoot we did a while back for Utterly Engaged. It's a nod to mid-century modern design and we love it. Emilia from Sweet Emilia Jane was the mastermind behind the shoot and created the floral design as well. She's one talented girl! Kira Grinberg snapped all the photos and captured all the fun details. So many wonderfully talented individuals contributed to the shoot. Paper design: Cactus and Quail. Cake: Sweet and Saucy. What better way to pass time on this fine fall day than to take a trip to the flower market to pull some fall flower and foliage goodies for our fall inspired centerpieces. My interns were hard at work placing each stem into their antique urns just so. I think they all turned out perfectly! We'll keep playing with flowers in the off-season and provide more holiday design inspiration in December and February. Now go enjoy a chai tea latte and burn that pumpkin spice candle!

Moroccan Nights Tablescape as Featured in Exquisite Weddings

Inspired by the idea of global romance Moroccan-style, Sitting in a Tree Events put a new spin on a romantic backyard wedding or private party. Deep fuchsia and coral with gilded accents and dark rustic wood, a simple yet beautiful aesthetic. The florals were created with coral charm peony and garden roses. Paper goodies were designed by Brightly Designed and the yummy food was provided by MIHO Gastrotruck.
