Nonpareil Magazine Issue 5: A Spectrum of Inspiration

I had the pleasure of working with Vicky of City Cradle Design and Jackie of Jackie Wonders Photography for Issue 5 of the newly designed Nonpareil Magazine. Vicky had such great vision and direction for the shoot and all the DIY details were perfectly captured by Jackie. Two amazing girls to work with, these two. The shoot was more like three girls hanging out, crafting, designing, and laughing. I loved every minute of it! Get inspired and get crafting.

Real Wedding: Julie + Forest

Although Julie wanted Forest to take her last name of Green, Julie and Forest became Mr. and Mrs. Stanley after an intimate ceremony on Friday, July 16th on the grounds of City Hall in downtown San Diego. Their wedding weekend was captured by Melanie of Goodnickles Photo.

Julie carried a bouquet of dinner plate dahlia, scabiosa, tweedia, and delphinium wrapped in a natural twine.

Forest wore a boutonniere designed with scabiosa and tweedia.

The relaxed reception took place on Sunday, July 18th in the Walled Garden located at the SD Botanical Gardens in Encinitas. A simple mason jar arrangement was designed with a dinner plate dahlia, delphinium, scabiosa, seeded eucalyptus, stock, and nigella and placed on the guestbook table.
